Mr.Chapalgaonkar, learned Counsel for respondent no.3 - University, on instructions, states that a full-fledge grievance committee would be

18-wp.8045 constituted within two weeks. He submits that nomination of the District Judge has already been made.

The grievance raised by the petitioner in the present Writ Petition can effectively be considered by the grievance committee to be constituted under the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016.

In view of the statement made by learned Counsel for respondent no.3 that the full-fledge grievance committee would be operational within two weeks from today, we pass the following order :- (i) The petitioner shall approach the grievance committee with regard to the grievance raised in the present petition.

(ii) Needless to state that the grievance committee shall decide the grievance as per the procedure laid down under the statute.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
