The learned counsel for the applicants submits that the applicants are poor agriculturists and their lands are compulsorily acquired and that

2 980&981 they were not in a position to file the appeals in time. The learned counsel further submits that the applicants would not claim interest and statutory benefit for the delayed period.

The applications for condonation of delay are opposed by the learned AGP.

Having considered the submissions made, the delay of 4055 and 4752 days in respective matters is condoned, subject to the condition that the applicants would not be entitled for interest and statutory benefit for the delayed period. The civil applications for condonation of delay are disposed of.

The First Appeals are admitted. On admission, the learned counsel / AGP waive notice for the respective respondents. Call R & P. Office objections, if any, to be removed within a period of four (04) weeks from today.
