This is yet another Petition wherein we notice abuse of the Writ of Mandamus.

A proceeding is initiated by the Petitioner on 29.07.2022, before the Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Dharur. On 03.08.2022 i.e. within 34 days, this Petition is filed seeking a direction to the said authority to decide the pending proceeding, out of turn. A proceeding which is 34 days old cannot be termed as being a pending proceeding. A Writ of Mandamus to a statutory authority exercising jurisdiction

2 wp 8538.2022 vested in it by law, which it has not refused to exercise, in the facts and circumstances of this case, cannot be issued.

In view of the above, this Petition is dismissed.
