This is an application for condonation of delay in filing appeal under section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act.

Heard learned counsel for both the sides.

Delay of 549 days occurred in filing of appeal is sufficiently explained in the preset application. In order to show bona fides of applicant, learned counsel for applicant makes statement at Bar that applicant will not claim statutory benefit for the period of delay and undertaking to that effect shall be furnished before this Court within a period of four weeks.
