The Petitioner, by this application, prayed for directions to respondent nos.1 and 2 to decide his application for emergency / marriage parole leave.

It is submitted by the learned advocate for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has filed application seeking emergency/marriage parole leave on 20th July, 2024, as he himself is getting married on 28th July, 2024 and hence, the concerned authority needs to decide this application within a short time.

It is submitted by the learned APP that the appropriate order be passed.

There is no dispute that the Petitioner's application for emergency / marriage parole leave is pending with the concerned authority. The reason cited in the application for parole is that the Petitioner himself is getting married on 28th July, 2024. In this view of the matter, we direct the concerned authority to take appropriate decision on the Application tendered by the Petitioner seeking emergency / marriage parole leave in accordance with law, within a period of two (2) days.

Learned APP shall inform the concerned authority about this order, forthwith.
