Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Asst. Government Pleader for respondent nos.1 to 3. Though respondent no.4 is served, none appears for respondent no.4. 2.

Application [Exhibit "C"] dated 25-6-2012 made by the petitioner, seeking grant of rental compensation is not yet decided, as per the learned Counsel for the petitioner.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that if the same is pending, then the Special Land Acquisition shall decide the same in accordance with law.

Considering the above, we pass the following order :- Respondent no.2 / Respondent no.3 - competent authority shall decide the application [Exhibit "C"] dated 25-6-2012, if pending, on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy of the State, after hearing all parties concerned, expeditiously and preferably within nine months from today.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
