By this Writ Petition, the petitioner is seeking a limited relief that the caste claim of the petitioner which initially was pending before the Caste Tribe Committee, Nashik be decided within a stipulated period. However, it has been informed by the learned AGP that the said file of the petitioner's caste claim has been transferred to the caste Tribe Committee, Aurangabad.

We are of the considered view that the caste claim of the petitioner can be decided only by the Tribe Committee, Nashik and we therefore, are of the view that it is in the fitness of the case that we direct the tribe committee, Nashik to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of four months from today. 3.

Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
