We normally do not entertain the petition filed by teachers seeking choice posting, when they have been transferred in accordance with the transfer policy. However, in the instant case, the Petitioner is working at the taluka place at village Udangaon, Taluka Sillod. His treatment for 'Cracinoma with Buccal Mucosa (Mouth Cancer)' is going on in the hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city. Since he is suffering from a dreaded disease, we are considering this petition in the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case and without laying down any

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to Respondent No.3, to consider the application of the Petitioner, dated 18.07.2024, favourably and preferably within 15 days from today considering the serious illness of the Petitioner and to enable him to receive proper treatment in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city.
