Heard the learned counsel for the applicant, the learned A.P.P. for the respondent.

The applicant seeks bail in C.R.No.14 of 2019 registered with MIDC Police Station, Latur, for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 324, 143, 144, 147, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code.

The applicant is languishing in jail for more than three years. Till date only six witnesses have been examined. The trial appears not promptly conducted. The similarly situated co-accused have been granted bail. Hence, he deserves bail.

ORDER

i) The bail application is allowed.

ii) Applicant - Vilas Govind Sathe be released on bail, on

955-BA-1292-24.odt furnishing PB and SB of Rs.50,000/-, with one solvent surety of the like amount, in the above crime for the aforesaid offences, on the condition that he should not tamper with the prosecution witnesses.
