The applicant / accused in Crime No. I225/2015 registered with Kannad Police Station, Taluka Kannad, District Aurangabad, for the offence punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code, by this application, is seeking his release on bail after filing of the charge-sheet.

Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the applicant / accused.

He argued that as the investigation is over and as the offence is punishable under Section 379 of the IPC, the applicant is entitled for bail.

The learned Addl. Public Prosecutor argued that the trial is already commenced and two witnesses of prosecution are already examined.

As the trial has commenced, instead of commenting on merits of the matter, considering the nature of crime and volume of evidence, it would be advisable to direct the trial Court to finish off the trial expeditiously.

Hence, I pass the following order :- The Application is disposed of with a direction to the learned trial Court to dispose of the pending trial arising out of Crime No. I-225/2015 registered with Kannad Police Station, Taluka Kannad, District Aurangabad, for the offence punishable under Section 379 of the IPC, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.
