The order has been correctly passed by the Scrutiny Committee. The caste certificate in favour of the petitioner was with the incorrect spelling of the caste. The Committee could not have validated the caste certificate with incorrect spelling. 2.

The petitioner may apply to the Committee for issuing attested copy of the caste certificate within a period of seven days from today. The Committee upon receipt of the same shall issue the attested copy of the caste certificate of the petitioner along with the proposal within a period of seven days. 3.

On receipt of the attested caste certificate, the

WP No.10025/21 petitioner shall approach to the concerned S.D.O. for issuance of caste certificate with the correct spelling of the tribe. The concerned S.D.O. shall verify the issuance of the caste certificate in favour of the petitioner as may be produced by the petitioner and upon satisfying that the same was validly issued, issue the correct tribe certificate to the petitioner with corrected spelling of the caste of the petitioner within fifteen days from the date of submission of application of the petitioner.

On receipt of the corrected tribe certificate the petitioner shall submit it to the Committee within a period of seven days. The Committee shall thereafter verify the said caste certificate on it'

s own merit and decide the validation proceeding, preferably within six months.

With these observations, writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
