The petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to Respondent Nos.2 and 3 to issue a letter of appointment appointing her on the post of Junior Assistant in pursuance to her selection during the selection process undertaken by the respondents. 2.

It is the contention of the petitioner that she was called for document verification and while verifying the documents she was informed that Non Creamy Layer Certificates possessed by her is not valid during the

WP.8677-18.odt financial year when the advertisement inviting applications was issued and the Non Creamy Layer Certificates was for the subsequent period. The aforesaid condition of possessing the Non Creamy Layer Certificate valid on the date of issuance of advertisement is waived, in view of the circular issued by the department dated 11.09.2018. In view of the revised policy, the claim of the petitioner for employment is liable to be considered.

The counsel for respondent, on instructions, states that the claim of the petitioner for appointment will be verified in accordance with the revised policy dated 11.09.2018 and appropriate orders would be issued. 4.
