Heard. The petitioner's caste claim has been turned down by the respondent No.2 Caste Scrutiny Committee. Now the petitioner proposes to rely on certain documents. This Court cannot go into factual matrix as to the genuineness of such documents. The matter, therefore, deserves to be remanded back to the Caste Scrutiny Committee. The learned A.G.P. has no serious objection.

In the result, the petition is partly allowed in terms of the following order :

O R D E R

(i) The Writ Petition is partly allowed.

(ii) The impugned order dated 6/12/2024 passed by the Caste Scrutiny Committee is quashed and set aside. (iii) The respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee is directed to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
