PER COURT :- 1) Heard. An application tendered by the petitioner seeking withdrawal of his candidature for contesting the election, has not been entertained by the Returning Officer on the ground that the notice in Form-6, as contemplated under Section 27 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies (Election to Committees) Rules, 2014, was tendered beyond the prescribed time.

2) We do not see any error in the action taken by the Returning officer in refusing to entertain the application moved by the petitioner for withdrawal of his candidature. 3) The writ petition is devoid of substance, hence stands rejected.
