By this Writ Petition, the Petitioners pray that their Statutory Appeal preferred in February 2024, is still not decided. A hearing even on the Application for Stay is pending. Notices are not issued.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioners prays that the entire Revision Application may be directed to decided, instead of deciding the Stay Application.

In view of the above, we direct Respondent No.1/Minister, Revenue Department, to decide the pending proceeding filed by the Petitioners, by following the due procedure laid down in law, within a period of 90 days from today. Notices in the matter shall be issued within 15 days from today.

In the event, the Model Code of Conduct is introduced, the same would not be an impediment for deciding the pending proceedings.

In view of the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
