Heard learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties. Delay of 866 days has occurred in filing the present appeals by the acquiring body against the award/s passed by the Reference Court in respective Land Acquisition References. Learned Counsel submitted that in obtaining sanctions at different levels and in complying with the procedural aspects, the delay is caused. Learned Counsel submits that considering the reasons stated in the applications, the delay be condoned. Learned Counsel appearing for the original claimants has opposed for condonation of delay stating that the reasons are insufficient to condone the delay.

After having considered the submissions made on behalf of the learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties and taking into account the objections raised by the appellant in the memo of appeal in exception
(3) to the impugned award/s, I deem it appropriate to condone the delay. Hence, the following order:
