The petitioner in these petitions, who claims to be an RTI activist, has been seeking police protection. 2.

Pursuant to the directions dated 08-07-2022 in Criminal Writ Petition no. 1535 of 2021, he was directed to submit an application within a week to the committee specially headed by the Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order.

It appears from the compilation placed on record by the learned APP, no such application was ever received by the committee and the committee has proceeded to take a decision by recording the minutes on 13-09-2022 refusing his claim for police protection.

Since the decision has been taken, nothing survives. 5.

Petitions are disposed of.

Needless to state that the petitioner will have his own remedies in law of putting up challenge to the decision of the committee.
