...Respondent
*** Mr. Muhammad Aseem h/f Mr. Sayyed Tauseef Yaseen, for Petitioners.
Ms. Neha B. Kamble, AGP for Respondent.
*** CORAM : MANISH PITALE AND Y. G. KHOBRAGADE, JJ.
DATE : 04th AUGUST 2025.
P. C. :
1.
It is an admitted position that the statutory appeal of the petitioners is filed and pending before the sole respondent i.e. the Divisional Commissioner, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. 2.
The learned AGP has taken specific instructions in the matter and she submits that every Thursday, the said Appellate Authority issues a Bajawani Board, whereby dates are allotted to such pending appeals. According to the learned AGP, on two occasions i.e. 26th June 2025 and 24th July 2025, the appeal of the petitioners was included in such a board and even notices were issued for hearing. Yet, the petitioners have not responded and they are raising a Shrikant Malani
34.WP.9328.2025.doc grievance directly before this Court.
3.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that such notices were never received.
4.
The learned AGP specifically informs this Court that the next date concerning the petitioners is 07th August 2025. Accordingly, we direct the petitioners to appear before the respondent - Appellate Authority on 07th August 2025. No separate notice shall be issued to the petitioners.
5.
The respondent - Appellate Authority is directed to consider and decide the pending appeal of the petitioners as expeditiously as possible.
6.
The writ petition is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
