In view of that the original application filed by the respondent in Writ Petition No.601 of 2006 and the petitioner in Writ Petition No.7837 of 2006 stands abated. Inter alia, both the writ petitions stand abated. The writ petitions are disposed of as abated. No costs.

In case, the petitioner in Writ Petition No.7837 of 2007 gets abatement set aside in the original application, then liberty to the parties to take appropriate steps.
