The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not paid grant-in-aid for the years 2010-2011 to 2012-2013.

It is for the respondent-authority to take decision with regard to the eligibility of the petitioner to receive grant-inaid for the academic year 2010-2011, 2011-2012 and 20122013. 3.

In case the claim of the petitioner is pending with the respondent, then the respondent-authority may assess the claim considering all the relevant aspects of the matter and

(2) determine about the eligibility of the petitioner to receive the grant-in-aid for the years 2010-2011, 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 on its own merits in accordance with the policy and rules. The same be done preferably within six months. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
