The learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner had moved the proposal for change of date of birth with the Education Officer (Primary). He rejected the application. The petitioner has thereafter, approached the Deputy Director of Education. The same is pending. The learned counsel submits that against the order of the Education Officer (Primary) also he would approach the Deputy Director of Education.

In case the petitioner approaches the Deputy Director of Education against the orders of the Education Officer, then the Deputy Director of Education, if he has jurisdiction, may decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy expeditiously, preferably

In view of disposal of the writ petition, the civil application also stands disposed of.
