Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

The applicant seeks bail in Crime No.130 of 2023, registered with Soygaon Police Station, District Aurangabad Rural, for the offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

3. The applicant was trapped accepting bribe. Trap was successful and the investigation for the purpose of accepting bribe was completed immediately. Nothing is to be recovered from the applicant. Considering the nature of the crime and the way of its investigation, the detention of the applicant would be fruitless. Hence, the following order :

(i) Bail Application is allowed.

(ii) Applicant SACHIN NANASAHEB ROTHE be released on bail on furnishing P.B. and S.B. of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) with one solvent surety of like amount, in Crime No.130 of 2023, registered with Soygaon Police Station, District Aurangabad Rural, for the offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, on the following conditions : (a) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses.

(b) He shall attend the Police Station as and when called by the Investigating Officer on written notice till filing the charge sheet.
