The Petitioner is working as a 'Primary Teacher' with Respondent/Zilla Parishad, Ahmednagar. She has given birth to twins, on 25/05/2024. Presently, she is on maternity leave. 2.

It is an undisputed position that the Government Resolution dated 18/06/2024, pertaining to the intra-district transfers of the teachers has a provision for accommodating a

7963.24wp (2) feeding mother for two years at the place, where she is already working at the time of delivery.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off, with a direction to the Respondent/Zilla Parishad, Ahmednagar to ensure that, an appropriate order is passed considering the plight of the Petitioner, in the light of the Government Resolution dated 18/06/2024, on or before 31/08/2024, since the Petitioner is on maternity leave till 21/10/2024.
