It is informed that the petitioner is dead. Apart from this, we have examined the contentions raised by the petitioner, which are essentially in the nature of espousing the public cause. 2.

An affidavit-in-reply has been presented on behalf of the Sub-Divisional Engineer, Nilanga Sub-Division Minor

Writ Petition No.8500/2010 Irrigation, Zilla Parishad, Latur, wherein it has been stated that the work of the scheme undertaken earlier has exhausted its maximum life span and the new repair works were required to be undertaken in respect of water supply scheme. It is further stated that, the exhaustive repairs in the old water supply infrastructure were made and as on today, the water supply scheme is functional, and enough water is being supplied to the villagers. In this view of the matter, according to us, the grievance raised by the petitioner in the instant petition stands redressed. Writ Petition stands disposed of. (A.I.S. CHEEMA, J.) ( R.M.
