PER COURT :- Heard. This petition can be disposed of in view of the statement made in para No.5 of the Affidavit in reply filed on behalf of respondent Nos.2 and 3 to the effect that the petitioners along with other claimants would be entitled for compensation in terms of Right to Fair Compensation & Resettlement Act, 2013 (for short, the new Act). It is further stated that appropriate steps would be taken in accordance with the provisions of the new Act.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with directions to the respondents to determine amount of compensation in accordance with the new Act, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from today and on determination of the amount of compensation, the same shall be paid to the claimants within the time stipulated above.
