The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are appointed as Assistant Professor in the year 2011 pursuant to the advertisement and selection process. The petitioners at the time of entering into the service were possessing Ph.D. qualification. The learned counsel submits that in view of the

2 wp 8799.19+ Government Resolution dated 12.08.2009, the petitioners would be entitled for five advance increments.

The learned counsel further submits that the petitioners would be governed by the order of this Court in Writ Petition No. 1273 of 2018 dated 11.02.2019 and subsequent orders passed in Writ Petition No. 6955 of 2019 with connected writ petitions decided on 04.07.2019.

Pulkundwar, learned A.G.P.

for respondents on going through the aforesaid judgment accepts that the petitioners are similarly situated.

In the light of above, we pass following order.

The petitioners shall be given benefit of five non-compounded advance increments. The earlier benefit of advance increments given shall be adjusted.

Writ Petitions are accordingly disposed of. No costs.
