By way of these two separate writ petitions, petitioner is seeking correction of the school record to the extent of his date of birth and surname.

The respondent No. 4/Head Master in both these petitions has been duly served, but has not caused appearance.

The writ petitions are disposed of directing the respondent No. 4 to immediately forward the proposal in tune with the petitioner's request to the Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of three (03) weeks of this order and the respondent/Education Officer (Primary) shall thereafter consider the proposal on its own merits and in accordance with law including the decision of the Full Bench in the matter of Janabai D/o Himmatrao Thakur Vs. The State of Maharashtra and another reported in 2019(6) Mh.L.J. 769 within a period of four (04) weeks of receipt of proposal from the Head Master.
