Learned A.P.P. waives service of notice for respondent no.3. Already reply is filed. Service complete.

In pursuance of the notice, respondent no.1 has filed the affidavit-in-reply. In para 3 of the affidavit-in-reply it is stated that out of 20 petitioners, the proposal of the petitioners, whose names are mentioned in the said paragraph,

crwp947.16 has been decided and out of 19, 6 petitioners have been released. So far as other petitioners are concerned, their proposal will be decided. Remaining petitioners out of 19 have not yet completed their period of sentence.

Learned A.P.P. submits that their proposal will be decided within six weeks from today.

In the circumstances, we direct the respondents to decide the proposal of the remaining petitioners, as early as possible, however, within six weeks from today.

We make it clear that in case such proposal is not decided, the Secretary, Home Department will be held responsible for the same. 6.

With the above observations the Petition stands disposed of.

Parties to act upon the authenticated copy of this order.
