Present applications have been filed by the original claimants for getting the delay of 1822 days condoned in filing first appeals.

1007, 1008, 1010,1012 group (delay).docx 2.

The applicants intend to challenge the judgment and award passed by the learned reference Court for enhancement. 3.

Learned AGP as well as learned Advocate for respondent No.2 strongly opposes the applications on the ground that the delay is huge and inordinate and has not been properly explained. 4.

Taking into consideration the fact that the applicants are agriculturist, whose land was acquired and since they are illiterate, coming from rural area, liberal approach is taken and therefore, for the reasons stated in the applications, delay stands condoned. 5.

Civil Applications stand allowed and disposed of accordingly. 6.

The applicants will not be entitled to get interest for the period of 1822 days in case of success to their respective appeals. 7.

Registry to verify and register the first appeals and place them for further consideration on 15.01.2020.
