It is contended that proposals seeking approval to the appointment of teachers are pending with respondent No. 2 - Education Officer, however, as yet no decision has been taken. 2.

In this view of the matter, the present writ petitions can be disposed of by directing respondent No. 2 to take decision on the proposals tendered by the Institution, in accordance with relevant rules and in observance of the procedure prescribed in that behalf, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of this order and it is accordingly directed. 3.
