Issue notice to respondents. Learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for respondents. 2.

After hearing counsel for the parties, it appears that the scope of present petition would be circumscribed by common order dated 8th January, 2019, passed in writ petition bearing no. 12071 of 2017 and companion writ petitions ending up in direction to the 'pay anomaly committee' to decide upon the pending matter.

It appears, there is no dispute that petitioners are similarly situated as petitioners in aforesaid writ petitions.

Having regard to aforesaid, we deem it appropriate that pursuant to direction under order dated 8th January, 2019, particularly, as referred to in paragraph no. 3, the pending matter if not already decided, it would be in fitness of things and expedient that the pay anomaly committee would take decision expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of writ of this order. 5.

Writ petition accordingly disposed of.
