The petitioner - Management intends to start new PG course in Micro biology. The University seems to have forwarded a positive proposal pursuant to the provisions of Section 109 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016, in April 2023, is pending with the Government.

Without expressing anything about the petitioner's entitlement or otherwise, we dispose of the Writ Petition by directing the respondent no. 1 to take appropriate decision on the proposal as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six weeks.
