The respondent competent authority under the Maharashtra Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Denotified Tribes (Vimukta Jatis), Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward Category (Regulation of Issuance and Verification of) Caste Certificate Act, 2000 is sitting over the petitioner's application since February 2023 when it was submitted online. Even the reminder application dated 28.03.2023 has been in vain.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent to forthwith pass appropriate order on the petitioner's application and latest by one.
