PER COURT :- The application tendered by the petitioner for grant of freedom fighters' pension has been turned down by the State Government, in view of the order passed on 8.12.2008. It is recorded in the order that, the petitioner does not fulfill the requirement laid down under the Government Resolution dated 4.7.1995. The petitioner is not able to demonstrate that, he satisfies the requirement laid down under the aforesaid Government resolution. There is absolutely no material except the affidavit of the petitioner and others in respect of his alleged participation in the freedom movement. The decision of the State Government cannot be said to be erroneous.

The writ petition is devoid of substance and hence stands dismissed.
