P.C. :
1.
We have considered the submissions of the learned Advocates on behalf of the appearing parties and the learned AGPs.

The issue raised is as regards the payment of salaries of the petitioners as per the Sixth Pay Commission recommendations w.e.f. 20-05-2009 in view of the Government Resolution dated 20-05-2009. We are informed that a representation fled by both these petitioners dated 2901-2016, which appears at page 60-A in the frst petition, is pending decision at the hands of the Chief Executive Offcer, Zilla Parishad, Latur. The contention of the petitioners is that there is no dispute about the applicability of the pay-scales to these petitioners. The follow-up action of grant of difference of salary is pending at the end of the Zilla Parishad. It is prayed that the said representation may be decided by the Chief Executive Offcer.
3.
Considering the above, these two petitions are disposed off with a direction to the Chief Executive Offcer, Zilla Parishad, Latur to respond to the representation dated 29-01-2016 fled by these petitioners, with reasons, on or before 15th July 2022. If these two petitioners are entitled to the salary benefts, the Chief Executive Offcer, Zilla Parishad shall accordingly issue appropriate orders and ensure that the difference of pay-scale is paid to these petitioners as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 15th
(3) September 2022. In the event the Chief Executive Offcer, Zilla Parishad rejects the claims of these petitioners, such rejection shall be with reasons and the petitioners would be at liberty to assail the same by availing of a remedy as is permissible in law.
