The learned counsel for the respondent No. 1 submits that, pursuant to interim orders passed in the matter, so also subsequent orders passed in contempt petition, the petitioner has been issued with the appointment order on 04th December, 2007 and even arrears of salary have been deposited by the respondent No. 1.

In the light of that, nothing survives in the present writ petition.

On the last date also the Court had stated that, if none appears for the petitioner on the next date, the matter would be dismissed. Today also when the matter is called out for final hearing, none appears for the petitioner.

As per the statement of the respondent No. 1, purpose of the writ petition stands served and the petitioner has been given all the benefits as claimed. The writ petition as such is disposed of. Rule discharged. No costs.
