DATE : 14th August, 2018 ORDER :

In the face of available remedy in the form of revision, it is not desirable to invoke extra-ordinary jurisdiction of this court under the Constitution of India in the present matter, leaving it open for petitioners to approach the Revisional Authority for the reliefs claimed in the writ petition.

As such, writ petition is not being entertained and is disposed of, with liberty to petitioners to approach the Revisional Authority.

In the circumstances, proceedings in furtherance of impugned order be kept in abeyance for a period of six weeks from

2 WP No. 9070/2018 today. Petitioners may file an application for interim relief to be decided by the authority on its own merits, without getting influenced by protection referred to above.

It is further expected that Revisional Authority would proceed with the revision as expeditiously as possible and would dispose of the same within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of writ of this order.
