In view of our order dated 3rd December 2024, the matter was referred to mediation. The Mediator has produced report today stating that there is a settlement. The terms of settlement have been reduced into writing. The informant / respondent No.2 and added applicant / husband reiterate the terms of settlement which were agreed to mediation before the learned Mediator. 3.
It appears that both of them have agreed to file a joint petition for divorce by mutual consent and there is stipulation for one time

In view of these terms and the other terms, as well as respondent No.2 submitting that she has no objection for the quashment of the FIR, we take this to be a fit case where we should exercise our inherent powers under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. The terms of settlement are hereby read and recorded. 4.
In view of the above said fact, the application stands allowed. The FIR vide C.R. No.0375 of 2024 dated 07.06.2024 registered with CIDCO Police Station, District Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 504 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 stands quashed and set aside as against all the accused persons named therein, i.e., present applicants.
