Present petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking directions to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to initiate effective steps and decide the proposal dated 29.05.2025 submitted by respondent No. 5 to the office of respondent No. 3 within a stipulated period of time.

The petitioner was appointed on 07.07.2004 and on 23.01.2008 was granted temporary approval to the appointment of petitioner as Peon which was later confirmed on 21.10.2008. The grievance of the petitioner is in respect of the proposal which has been submitted by respondent No. 5 in respect of granting higher pay scale on the ground of ACPS dated 29.05.2025 is pending in the office of respondent No. 3 and no effective steps are initiated on the said proposal 920-WP-13809-2025.odt

till date.

Learned AGP appearing for respondent Nos. 1 to 4. On instructions from respondent No. 3 states that the proposal of the petitioner dated 29.05.2025 will be decided within a period of eight weeks from today. Said statement is accepted as undertaking. 4.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed of.
