This petition is filed for the limited relief of direction to respondent No. 2 - the Scrutiny Committee to decide tribe claim of the petitioner of belonging to 'Mannervarlu' scheduled tribe. There is extreme urgency in the matter as the petitioner is allotted college and the last date for submitting validity certificate is 04.09.2025. 2.

The learned AGP appearing for both the respondents points out that the proposal for granting validity itself was moved in December, 2024 and therefore, some reasonable period of time may be required to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner.

In view of the above, we direct the respondent No. 2 - the Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously
