Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondents-State.

The applicants are apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 200/2024 dated 26.4.2024 registered at Rajur Police Station, District Ahemadnagar for the offences punishable under sections 498-A, 315, 324, 323, 504, 506 of I.P.C. and under sections 9 and 10 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act.

Applicants are mother-in-law and father-in-law of the complainant/ informant. The allegations in the FIR shows that applicants along with husband of the informant had beaten up the informant though she was pregnant. The learned APP informs that the informant has given birth to healthy child. It is also informed by the learned APP that the husband and the brother in law were granted regular bail. The injuries sustained by the informant on abdomen are simple in nature. This Court has granted interim protection to the applicants vide order dated 1.8.2024 and the applicants had cooperated with the investigating agency.

In view of the nature of injuries and informant had given birth to the healthy child, I deem it appropriate to confirm the interim protection granted to the applicants.

In view of the above, the application is allowed. The interim protection granted by this Court vide order dated 1.8.2024 to the applicants is confirmed on following conditions.

i] The applicants shall attend the police station as and when required.

ii] The applicants shall not tamper with the evidence of the prosecution in any manner. They shall not influence the informant, witnesses and other persons concerned with the case. iii] The applicants shall co-operate with the investigation and also in the proceedings before the trial Court.

In the event, the applicant violates any of the conditions specified in this order, bail granted today shall be liable to be cancelled. 7.

It is also clarified that the observations made in this order are limited to the disposal of the present anticipatory bail application and the trial Court shall proceed further in the matter without being influenced by the observations made hereinabove.

The application stands disposed of.
