The learned counsel for petitioner submits that the validation proceeding is pending since the year 2011. The vigilance is also conducted. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner is interested in contesting the election. The respondents be directed to decide the proceeding expeditiously.

The learned AGP accepts notice for the respondents. In case, the validation proceeding is pending with respondent No.2, then considering the fact that the same is pending since the year 2011, the respondent No.2 shall endeavour to decide the said proceeding expeditiously, preferably within three months from the date of appearance of the petitioner.
