Pending hearing and final disposal of the writ petition, the online application of the petitioners bearing reference No.OVR625548248 and OFG996479252 for transfer of names of the petitioners from

We have considered the submissions of the learned advocates appearing for the petitioners and respondent No.1/State Election Commission and the learned AGP on behalf of respondent No.2.

In view of the prayers put forth by the petitioners, we find that respondent No.2 can consider the grievance of the petitioners, if there is no legal impediment and follow the due procedure laid down in law while dealing with the said grievance.

As such, this petition is disposed off with an expectation that respondent No.2 would consider the grievance of the petitioners by following the due procedure laid down in law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three months from today.
