Heard the learned advocate for the petitioners as well as the learned AGP for the respondents 1 and 2.

The petitioners who are the employees of the respondent no. 3 - University are seeking grade pay in the light of the government resolution dated 11-02-2013 with effect from 01-01-2006. It appears that their claim has been considered by the respondent no. 3 and a proposal has been forwarded to the respondent no. 1 (Exhibit - F) on 06-06-2018. It is being submitted that even subsequently reminders have been issued. A similar grade pay has already been granted to the similarly placed employees of Dr. Balasaheb Savant Konkan Agricultural University, Dapoli.

We dispose of the petition by directing respondents no. 1 and 2 to take appropriate decision on the proposal received from the respondent no. 3 - University (Exhibit - F) as expeditiously as possible and in any case within 12 weeks.
