...
CORAM : SANDIPKUMAR C. MORE, J.
DATE : 06.04.2023 PER COURT :
Heard rival submissions. Specific order has been passed by this Court on 31.03.2023 by mentioning that unless the respondent- Bank is ready for extending the time for repayment of the loan, no further directions can be given to them. The learned counsel for the respondents has already stated that there would be 12 installments for repayment of loan of petitioner which seems to be a reasonable offer. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner has come out with new offer of paying the loan in 24 installments which has been turned down by the learned counsel holding for Mr. Gangakhedkar for respondents. As such, when the earlier offer of repayment of loan in 12 installments was found reasonable then the new offer from the petitioner cannot be accepted.
2.
As such, the Contempt Petition stands dismissed. It is made clear that there would no impediment for the petitioner to pay the entire loan of respondents within 12 months as offered earlier by the respondents.
