The learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that on 13.09.2021, the petitioners filed application for extension of term. Earlier extension was granted up to 31.08.2021. The petitioners term are not continued, no Administrator is appointed.

The learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents no. 1 to 3.

Mr. Bhise, learned Advocate accepts notice for respondent no. 4. Mr. Dighe, learned Advocate accepts notice for respondent no. 5.

In case the application of the petitioner is pending with respondent no. 1, then respondent no. 1 shall take decision upon it on it's own merits, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably, within one (01) month. 4.

Till the decision is taken, no adverse steps be taken against the Committee only on the ground that the term has lapsed.

This order would not be an impediment for the Authorities to proceed further for holding the elections.

Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
