This petition is filed for seeking limited direction to the respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as belonging to Thakur Scheduled Tribe at the earliest, in the light of the fact that the petitioner is a student. It is stated that the petitioner has been allotted a college and that the validity certificate is to be submitted by 05th September 2025.

Since the vigilance enquiry has been completed, the learned AGP has instructions to state that the tribe claim can be decided within four weeks from today.

In view of the urgency projected on behalf of the petitioner, we direct the respondent - Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe Shrikant Malani

964.WP.9757.2025.doc claim of the petitioner at the earliest and in any case on or before 31st August 2025.

The writ petition is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
