CRA 139-2017 (2) injunction is clamped against present applicant/defendant. Since more than about a year, adinterim injunction is operating and the application Exh. 5 is not taken to its logical end. The relevant statute contemplates that the application for injunction has to be decided within 30 days.

In the aforesaid backdrop, prayer is made that the application Exh. 5 be directed to be decided expeditiously. 3.
The prayer appears to be reasonable and innocuous as no rights of the respondents are adjudicated having civil consequences before this Court. As such, notice to respondents is dispensed with. It is directed that Wakf Suit No. 101 of 2016 be decided expeditiously, and in any case, within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of order of this Court before the Wakf Tribunal.

With the above observations, application stands disposed of.
