I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant for some time.

The learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw this bail application. The learned counsel for the applicant, however, submits that the applicant is jail in connection with the present crime since 3.6.2018 and, though the case was posted on 27.11.2018 for framing the charge, it was framed after a lapse of one year i.e. on 27.11.2019. Learned counsel submits that even though the charge has been framed, the trial in its real sense is yet not commenced. Learned counsel submits that, thus, aaa/-
BA 1393.2020.odt necessary directions may be given to the trial court for expeditious disposal of the case, in a time bound manner.

Bail application is disposed off as withdrawn. 5.
The Trial Court is hereby directed to dispose off the case bearing Sessions Case No.35 of 2018, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of EIGHT MONTHS (08) from the date of this order, by dayto-day hearing, if possible. The trial Court shall submit the monthly report to the Principal District and Sessions Judge about the progress of the case, and, the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge shall monitor the said progress in terms of the directions given by this Court.
