Learned Counsels for both sides makes statement that present Petition can be allowed in view of Full Bench judgment of this Court in case of State of Maharashtra vs. Kailash Shiva Rangari, 2016 (3) AIR Bom R 742.

In view of this, Petition stands allowed. Award stands modified. Interest under Section 28 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and Section 34 to be paid from the date of award.

It is expected that the compensation be paid to the claimants expeditiously and in any case, within a period of six weeks from today.
